A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire region through 12:00 PM on Saturday due to how the wind chill temperatures are forecasted to remain this morning, running as low as -15°.
We will bring Sunshine back into the forecast, looking ahead into the start of the weekend on Saturday, before cloud cover increases late Saturday night into the end of the weekend on Sunday. High pressure will control the forecast for the start of the weekend, so expect plenty of sunshine, before more clouds move into the region Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
After the cloud cover increases on Sunday, it sticks around into the start of the week on Monday, as well as into Tuesday. Mostly cloudy skies are expected through the end of the weekend and into the start of next week, but temperatures remain on the cold side of things through the end of the weekend. Daytime high temperatures into the teens through Sunday, before warming into the 20s by Tuesday.
A cold front will roll through the region. By the time we get to Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening, right now we’re going to keep the forecast dry, but we will keep cloud cover in the forecast. And then, once that front moves through the region, the cloud cover sticks around the second half of next week.
Mostly cloudy skies can be expected on Wednesday and Thursday, before we bring a little more sunshine into the forecast by the end of the week on Friday. The good news is that temperatures will remain above average, looking into the second half of the week. High temperatures remaining in the low to mid-30s Wednesday through Friday, with overnight lows dropping back into the 20s each and every night.
