Most of the region saw some sunshine working throughout the start of the weekend before the clouds rolled in, and then we saw the latest round of snow moving into the region last night and into the early portions of the weekend.

Most places saw 1-2” of snow, with an isolated 3” amount coming in from Northern Oakland County, but with temperatures falling into the teens and lower 20s, with wind chills into the single digits on Sunday morning, you’re going to need the scraper to get the snow and ice off the car on Sunday morning.

As we work through the end of the weekend, we will bring some sunshine back into the forecast, but colder temperatures will stick around.

High temperatures are making it into the lower 30s by the time we get to Sunday afternoon.

The weather pattern becomes a little more active, looking ahead into the majority of next week.

We bring precipitation back into the forecast starting Monday night with a chance of a rain-snow mix overnight Monday night into early Tuesday morning, before changing over to some rain showers as high temperatures make it into the upper 30s by Tuesday afternoon.

Then, we get a break from the active weather for the first part of the day on Wednesday, before rain moves into the region Wednesday night through the end of the week on Friday.

High temperatures will progressively get warmer, heading above average by the end of next week.

High temperature is warming into the mid-40s by Wednesday, warming into the mid to upper 50s, and even some lower 60s by the time we get to the end of next week. And there is some indication that this could be a healthy dose of rainfall by the end of next week, with some places seeing near or over an inch of rainfall by late next Friday night.

Rain chances also look to stick around into the start of next weekend on Saturday.

High temperatures dropping into the upper 50s by the time we get to the start of next weekend.
