Warmer today with highs around 70. If your kids have outdoor practice this evening or you have tickets to the Tigers game, bring an umbrella. We have added showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening for much of Southeast Michigan with the passage of a cold front. No severe weather is anticipated. Light showers or sprinkles will be possible after 2PM, but a more organized line looks to form and pass through after 7PM this evening.
We remain in the 70s the rest of the workweek. Sunshine returns tomorrow thanks to high pressure making for a beautiful evening downtown for anyone heading to the Tigers or Pistons games Wednesday. More widespread rain is likely by Friday evening with possible thunderstorms. Temperatures this weekend are trending in the mid to upper 60s.
