Windy conditions in Metro Detroit Tuesday, cold air and rain chances return this week

After overnight showers, rain ends this morning with mostly dry conditions through remainder of the day. Still mild in the wake of a warm front with highs in the mid to upper 60s, but windy. Gusts will be between 20-30 mph today. Clouds will give way to sunshine as the day rolls on, so after school practice and games will be a go!

Shower chances return tomorrow morning into the early afternoon. Much colder air moves in Wednesday through Friday with highs in the 50s and cooler than average temps holds through the weekend bringing frost/freezing potential for a several nights. This weekend is shaping up to the dry with afternoon highs on either side of 60.
