Welcome to the pick day of the week. We have a mild Monday on tap, but breezy. We will have sunshine with highs in the 70s and wind gusts 25-35 mph.
There is a chance of thunderstorms this evening into tonight. Some storms may be strong or severe, especially south of I-696 (Marginal risk from Lansing to Gross Ile and south to the state line). The primary window for potential severe storms is between 6 PM and midnight.
An isolated storm could produce damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and large hail up to 1 inch.

Much cooler temperatures return Tuesday and last through the end of the week (Highs in the 50s and low 60s).
There will be on-and-off rain chances the remainder of the week. The Climate Prediction Center keeps temperatures below average through mid-May.
