Metro Detroit is holding onto cloudy and cool conditions for most of the day Wednesday and into Thursday.
Some breezy conditions will work their way in Wednesday, with gusts around 15-20 mph. That continues into Thursday and will make temperatures feel a couple of degrees cooler.
We can’t rule out an isolated shower Wednesday, but most Metro Detroiters will stay dry. The precipitation will be rain, if we get any, and it’s around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
After some sun in the morning, skies will be cloudy throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
High temperatures are only going to top out around 57 degrees -- about 10 degrees below average.
Frost is possible Wednesday night, with low temperatures in the low 30s both overnight and into Thursday morning. If you have potted plants or hanging baskets, you should bring them inside the garage or indoors overnight.
There could be an isolated sprinkle or two during the Detroit Tigers’ game against the Boston Red Sox at Comerica Park on Wednesday. Conditions will mostly be dry, cloudy, and cool. First pitch at 6:40 p.m. is likely to come with temperatures in the mid-50s.
There are a couple possible spotty showers around 3-4 p.m. Thursday, with a possible heavier pocket by 10-11 p.m.
Temperatures will rebound this weekend, as we warm into the 60s. But that comes with some off-and-on shower chances.
