Dangerous Cold, Icy Start In Spots
TUE: Metro Detroit temps are dropping into mainly the teens to near 20F. And a west breeze keeps wind chills in the dangerous single digits and low teens. Layer up, bundle up, and take it slow. There are some icy spots and black ice out there. Highs will likely not hit 30F today stuck in the mid and upper 20s with lighter winds WSW 5-13mph.
WED: A weak disturbance overnight brings a few hours of light snow and a slippery AM drive tomorrow, but we only expect a dusting to maybe a half inch of snow Wednesday morning around Metro Detroit. Morning lows in the upper teens and then highs in the low 30s. Winds will pick up late SSE 5-15mph and most of the day is dry under partly sunny skies.
THUR: Trying warm up with south winds picking up and mostly cloudy skies take us into the upper 30s. We will see a wintry mix move over the area through the afternoon and evening.
Friday will be in the mid to upper 40s with a few light rain showers, and we may see mid 50s Saturday after a few morning showers.
