Still a Few Flakes Flyin'...
For those heading out the door early this morning, most areas have dropped into the upper teens to near 20 degrees…a deck of stratus clouds moved in overnight, which kept temps from dropping much lower. In fact, there are even some snow showers with those stratus clouds, but nothing that should impact the roads much. Highs today will only reach the low to mid 20s, as a colder air mass streams in from the north. North-northwest winds will blow at 8 to 13 mph today, which will keep wind chills in the single digits this morning, and in the low to mid teens this afternoon. Today’s sunrise is at 7:50 a.m., and today’s sunset is at 5:43 p.m. My daily weather article with my latest thoughts on this weekend's storm has been posted on ClickOnDetroit.com...it's right there on the home page...check it out.
