These Ann Arbor streets will be closed during Big House 5K on Sunday Annual run raises funds for charitable organizations

ANN ARBOR – The Big House 5K run will take over a large portion of the downtown area on Sunday from 5:30-11 a.m.
According to a city release, the following streets will be closed during the event:
State Street from near the Stadium Bridge to Hill Street
Hill Street from State Street to Church Street
Church Street from Hill Street to Geddes
Geddes from Church Street to Fletcher Street
Fletcher Street from Geddes to East Washington Street
East Washington Street from Fletcher to State Street
State Street from East Washington To Madison
Madison from State Street to Division
Division from Madison to Hoover
Hoover from Madison to Greene and Keech (the finish will be inside Michigan Stadium)
The annual event presented by the University of Michigan Athletic Department raises funds for six charitable organizations.
This year’s beneficiaries include:
A maximum of 10,000 participants are allowed to participate. In 2021, more than 3,500 runners participated in a virtual race and raised $71,000 for that year’s beneficiaries.
