Gutman Gallery in Ann Arbor announces new exhibition ahead of Pride Month

Exhibit will run May 13-June 18

ANN ARBOR – The Gutman Gallery will be hosting a brand-new exhibition starting May 13 in celebration of Pride Month.

The all media exhibition, titled “fluid. man. woman. and the space between.” will run through June 18.

According to the gallery run by The Guild of Artists & Artisans, the exhibit will explore “what is inherently masculine or feminine and whether or not it’s even relevant.”

The exhibition will kick off with a community reception on Friday, May 13 from 4-6 p.m. Artists will be at the event for a meet and greet and Koro Kouyate will be performing live music.

The show was juried by The Guild’s staff members and by Michigan-based artist Armando Pedroso. It features 26 works from 16 artists and includes mixed media monoprints, mixed media sculpture, photographs and more.

At this time, face masks are recommended at Gutman Gallery but are not required.
