ANN ARBOR, Mich.Michigan Wolverines senior forward Terrance Williams II, a player of immense talent and potential, made a bold move by declaring for the 2024 NBA draft while maintaining his eligibility to return to collegiate play.

Williams II announced his decision, which could shape his future and the future of Michigan basketball, to test out the waters on the next level on Thursday (April 4) afternoon on his official Instagram account.

The 6′7″ 225-pound forward started 31 games for the Wolverines during the 2024 season, averaging 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, shooting 46.2% from inside the arc and 39.7% from the three-point line while knocking down 76.1% from the charity stripe.

Williams II started 58-114 games for the men in maize in four seasons under former head coach Juwan Howard. With Dusty May’s new hire from Florida Atlantic, a fresh start may lead to a long and illustrious career.

Although the Wolverines finished 8-24, Williams II, who started all 31 games this past season, was a 2024 Winter Academic All-Big Ten student-athlete, collecting a 3.0 GPA or higher.
