No injuries reported in Mini Ann Arbor fire Vehicle totaled following mechanical failure

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A Mini Cooper in Ann Arbor was destroyed in a fire Tuesday.
It happened just before noon, July 8, on Jackson Avenue, just east of I-94. The Ann Arbor Fire Department said the vehicle experienced a mechanical failure on I-94 just before it caught fire.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire, but the vehicle was totaled.
No injuries were reported.
