Popular Ypsilanti bar closing, owners hint at new venture Longtime Ypsi favorite to close after years of service
Wurst Bar in Ypsilanti (Krystle Stasik, WDIV)
YPSILANTI, Mich. – A popular bar in Ypsilanti will be closing its doors for good later this month.
The Wurst Bar, located on Cross Street across from the Eastern Michigan University campus, announced on social media that Aug. 24 will be its last day .
Owners thanked the community for its support over the years and said the building will undergo renovations and teased “something new is brewing.”
