DETROIT – Join the celebration and help save lives by participating in the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute's 2013 Annual Dinner, Saturday, April 20, at the General Motors' Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Detroit. Annual Dinner Chairs are Mark Reuss, president, General Motors North America, and his wife Kim. This signature event continues the great partnership between GM, the GM Foundation and the Karmanos Cancer Institute, driving innovations in cancer care.
The 31st Annual Dinner will include a cocktail reception, an elegant seated dinner, brief program, entertainment, an exciting raffle and live auction. Emcee for the evening will be WDIV Local 4 Anchor/Consumer Reporter Ruth Spencer. The event benefits the critical work of Karmanos researches and physicians who are creating the next standard of cancer care that will be used around the world.
