Helping senior citizens in Michigan navigate the COVID-19 vaccination process
DETROIT – There are a lot of seniors in Metro Detroit eager to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
They may have a tougher time finding out when and where and how to make that happen. But there are ways to help them.
Julie Edgar is helping her parents through the process. The Area Agency on Aging is already being flooded with calls.

The advice is to touch base with the seniors in your life, contact their medical professionals or their health care system -- or just call your local health department. There are opportunities to book appointments over the phone if the internet isn’t an option.
