She’s an actress, a New York Times Best Selling Author, and she also has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, but did you know that Mayim Bialik is also a cat lover? She also has a message for how you can share your love of cats, even if you have allergies. Host Tati Amare spoke with Mayim Bialik about her new project.

She is starring in a new show called “Call me Kat” which takes place in a cat café. Bialik has been a cat lover all her life and she says it’s a lot of fun to work with cats on set. She also has 3 cats of her own at home.

If you have allergies to cats, then she has a message for you. Purina’s Pro Plan Live Clear is the first and only cat food that reduces the major allergen that people are sensitive to. There is a protein in a cat’s saliva that causes the allergies and this food works to reduce that. The Live Clear Challenge is giving people a new lease on life. After 3 weeks of feeding your cat this food, you should have a 50% reduction in the allergen. This has been a major help to Balik and her boyfriend who is allergic to cats.

She went on to talk about more of her upcoming projects, including guest-hosting Jeopardy.
