March for a purpose with your pet

Fitness is important for both you and your pet, and there’s a great way to get moving

We know that fitness is something everyone should be aware of, but it’s not something that benefits us alone. It can also benefit our pets as well. Anna Chrisman with Michigan Humane shared what some of those benefits can be.

1. Daily exercise can help their bodies and keep them in shape

2. It can curb obesity, reduce stress, and combat other health issues

3. Walking supports your health and well-being too

One place you can get moving with your pet is at the Mutt March which happens June 3 at The Ford House. The event happens from 8 a.m. to Noon and you can register online.

This week’s Pet of the Week is Dakota. Dakota is a puppy who is approximately 2 and 1/2 months old. She is teething, and needs some space to get outside and explore. The Mike Morse Law Firm will pay the standard adoption fees for whoever adopts today’s pet.
