Former celebrity bodyguard’s book aims to inspire kids to make better choices

He survived violence, addiction, and nearly a decade behind bars, and now Detroit native Andre Dukes is turning his life story into a message of hope for at-risk youth.

Dukes’ new book, Street-Wise & Real Talk, is a fictional, age-appropriate book for kids that speaks their language without glorifying crime.
