Rochester Hills police: Man shoots radio at work as 'joke'

Police: Man says boss shot his radio to be funny

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Rochester Hills police said shots were fired as a "joke" at Avon Radiator in the 900 block of Auburn Road.

Police said a man from the business reported shots were fired inside the building and that he thought his boss was trying to be funny by shooting his radio.

A 64-year-old Orion Township man admitted to shooting the radio as a joke that he had been planning to do for awhile, police said.

Police found two handguns and shell casings at the business.
