Crews search Macomb Orchard Trail in April Millsap murder investigation

ARMADA, Mich. – Investigators were out Tuesday on the Macomb Orchard Trail near Armada, hoping to find more clues that would lead them to 14-year-old April Millsap's killer.

Investigators drained a pool in the area.  Sources say some items were found but it's unclear if they're connected to the case.

Joggers found Millsap's body July 24 in a drainage ditch along the Macomb Orchard Trail in Armada, hours after she had disappeared while walking her dog. She had been beaten and strangled.

A person of interest was taken into custody in August, but still there are no named suspects or charges in Millsap's murder, leaving some people in her small Armada community living with a degree of uncertainty.
