Polite bank robber's note: 'Give me all of your fifties and hundreds please'

Rochester Hills bank robbed by man with fake beard, mustache

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Rochester Hills police are searching for a man who robbed the Citizens Bank at 3:27 p.m. Thursday in the 40 block of N. Adams Road.

Police said the man walked into the bank wearing a false beard and a mustache. He walked up to the teller and gave her a handwritten note that said, "This is a robbery. Give me all of your fifties and hundreds please."

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. The man then fled the area on foot through the Villages of Rochester Hills Mall parking lot.

A K-9 unit was called in to track the man, but the trail ended in the mall parking lot on Walton Boulevard.

Police are searching for a man who is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, has blue eyes and was wearing a gray striped shirt, black pants, white gym shoes, glasses and a fake beard and mustache.
