Detroit police seek person of interest in fatal Midtown shooting

DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for help in identifying and locating a person of interest pertaining to a fatal shooting that happened in Detroit's Midtown early Sunday morning.

On Sunday, January 8, 2017 at approximately 3:10 a.m., in the area of Canfield and Second, a 23 year old male victim was fatally shot. The 23 year-old male victim was at a local establishment; when he left with his friend, he was approached by an unknown suspect. An altercation occurred and a struggle ensued. The victim was shot multiple times and expired from his injuries.

The Detroit Police Department has obtained video from the area which captured a person of interest who may have information pertaining to this case.
