WYCD 99.5 FM broadcaster Linda Lee dies after battling lung cancer
DETROIT – Linda Lee, a well-known broadcaster and native of Detroit, died Friday after being diagnosed with lung cancer seven months ago, according to WYCD.
The station announced on their Facebook page Friday:
"Linda Lee, legendary broadcaster and WYCD 99.5 FM’s award-winning afternoon drive co-host, died Friday after a seven-month cancer battle."
Lee celebrated 20 years on the air in September of last year.
