ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A 30-year-old Ann Arbor man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to police, a 19-year-old woman reported that she was sexually assaulted around 2 a.m. by a man in her apartment in the 1300 block of S. University Avenue.
The assault happened while the victim’s two roommates slept in other rooms, police said.
When the victim confronted the man, the man fled the scene.
The woman was treated at the University of Michigan hospital and released, police said.
According to police, the man was arrested Saturday afternoon.
He is at the Washtenaw County Jail pending prosecutor review of the investigation and arraignment.
