DTE Energy power outage map: Thousands without electricity in Metro Detroit Severe thunderstorms moving through Metro Detroit
Thousands of Metro Detroit residents are without power.
DETROIT – Thousands of DTE Energy customers are without power as severe thunderstorms slice through Southeast Michigan.
As many as 20,000 customers lost power during Wednesday's storms, according to DTE Energy.
The company's outage map shows several large groups of residents without power scattered throughout the area.
