Traffic: One more day for I-75 drama -- at least THIS drama ā
Reminder: Both directions of I-75 will be closed overnight between Big Beaver and Crooks roads in order for crews to install bridge beams on the new overpasses at Wattles Road and Corporate Drive. The full closures begin at 9:30 p.m. and open by 5 a.m. the following morning.
Tonight is supposed to be the final night of this closure. Of course, all of the other I-75 construction drama will continue ... forever! OK, maybe not forever, but it sure feels like it!

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign in effect šØ
Stepped up impaired driving enforcement will take place July 1-14 across the state of Michigan. Police want to remind drivers that any form of impaired driving is illegal. Be on the lookout for more officers out on the roads at peak times.
TOUR the Detroit Yacht Club! āµ
Normally open only to members and their guests, the DYC Foundation provides the general public an opportunity to tour the historic Detroit Yacht Club clubhouse through scheduled tours on selected dates, including today. Tour leaders are trained in the history and architecture of this building that is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours typically last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of the group.
