Police: 1 dead, 4 shot in Detroit Saturday morning

DETROIT – Police confirm one person died and five others were shot during an after party in Detroit Saturday.

The shooting happened around 4:55 a.m. Saturday in the 7000 block of east Kirby in Detroit. According to police, an unknown gunman fired shots at all five victims. A 26-year-old man was killed in the shooting and may have been targeted by the shooter, police say.

The other four victims were treated at local hospitals. The victims include a 20-year-old man in critical condition, a 30-year-old man in stable condition, 21-year-old man in stable condition and a 31-year-old woman in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
