Snow causing major delays at Detroit Metro Airport

Detroit Metro Airport (WDIV)

Snow is causing delays of more than three hours at Detroit Metro Airport on Monday.

The FAA issued an alert this afternoon:

Due to WEATHER / SNOW-ICE, there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Detroit, MI (DTW). This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

You can check flight status and delays here.

Detroit Metro Airport completely closed earlier this year due to a winter storm in January.
