Fire damages Northville Township lawnmower repair shop

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A fire damaged a lawnmower repair shop Tuesday morning in Northville Township.

The fire happened at about 1 a.m. at Mark's Outdoor Power Equipment near Northville and 6 Mile roads.

Officials said they believe the fire started in the attic. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

The building has sustained heavy water, smoke and fire damage. Nobody was inside at the time of the fire.
