Man fatally shot at McGuire’s Motor Inn in Waterford Township

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 21-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday night at McGuire’s Motor Inn on Telegraph Road in Waterford Township.

UPDATE: 2 suspects taken into custody

Waterford Township police received a 911 call around 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Police found the man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to officials.

Police are investigating a possible motive. No arrests have been made and no description of a suspect has been released.

No other injuries have been reported either.
