Michigan State University reinstates second-year on campus living requirement

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University has announced its plans to reinstate a second-year on campus living requirement for students in East Lansing.
Currently students are only required to live on campus for one year.
The two-year requirement will be reinstated starting with the Fall 2021 semester.
The university says it will improve students’ chances of graduating.
According to a university spokeswoman, the school has been contemplating reinstating the requirement for the past several academic years.
