DETROIT – Children are invited to hunt for eggs on the Dossin Great Lakes Museum’s two riverfront lawns Saturday during its first Easter egg-stravaganza.
Enjoy family friendly music while searching for the golden egg to get a special prize. After the hunt, families can participate in a take-home craft workshop or grab lunch from food truck ¡Whoa Tacos!, which will be on-site all afternoon.
The event features two staggered entrance times 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to ensure social distancing.
Tickets are $12 for kids ages six to 17, $8 for ages two to six and free for children under two.
Those interested are encouraged to reserve a space soon, as tickets are timed and limited. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.
The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is located at 100 Strand Drive on Belle Isle.
Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation.
