Allegedly, Colbert drove his vehicle recklessly, and the victim honked his horn. The man then attempted to use his car as a weapon multiple times to attack the victim while he drove his car before driving away from the scene.

Officials say the victim was able to get away from the 31-year-old and called the police with the defendant’s driver’s license.

Michigan State Police investigation led to the arrest of Colbert on Dec. 6, and he was charged with three counts of felonious assault and one count of reckless driving.

Colbert was charged in the 36th District Court and given a $10,000/10% bond with a GPS tether.

His probable cause conference is scheduled for Dec. 15 at 8:30 a.m. and the preliminary examination is scheduled for Dec. 27 at 8:45 a.m.
