ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A branch of a popular restaurant chain has closed in Macomb County.

Officials with Outback Steakhouse confirmed to Local 4 that their Roseville location has been shut down. Its last day of operation was Friday, Feb. 23, 2024.

“Closing a restaurant is never easy,” a spokesperson said. “This was a business decision that is not a reflection of the management or staff. Some employees will have the opportunity to transfer. Those who do not will receive a severance package. We appreciate the community’s support over the past 29 years and hope to see you at our Southfield or Madison Heights locations.”

The restaurant was at the corner of Gratiot Avenue and 12 Mile Road. It’s one of multiple Outback Steakhouse branches closing around the country, though a full list will not be released, the company said.

The branches mentioned by the Outback Steakhouse spokesperson are at 23501 Greenfield Road in Southfield and 1515 West 14 Mile Road in Madison Heights.
