Signature fraud, rule violations lead to removal of candidates from Michigan ballot

The Michigan Bureau of Elections has made a significant move, removing eight United States House candidates and one United States Senate candidate from the ballot, which could potentially reshape the political landscape.

The issues range from signature fraud to an inability to follow basic rules. Republicans Josh Saul and JD Wilson were removed from Michigan’s 1st Congressional District, and Republican Nikki Snyder was removed from the 8th Congressional District.

Driver charged with smashing cars, nearly hitting man outside Shelby Township restaurant

A man was arrested after police say he intentionally rammed into cars at a restaurant parking lot in Shelby Township.

It happened late Wednesday (May 22) night at Johnny Black’s Taphouse on Schoenherr Road. Video shows a truck smashing into several parked cars, nearly hitting a man who jumped out of the way just in time.
