DETROIT – A popular bar in Detroit’s Corktown is rebranding under new ownership.
The rebranding comes after current owners announced earlier in June that the UFO Factory’s last day would be June 15. Dion Fischer said they were moving on and getting out of the restaurant/bar industry.
At the time, Fischer teased there were plans for the Trumbull Avenue building.
The popular Corktown bar and music venue is expected to reopen in July as UFO BAR with the same staff. The new owner said while the name is changing, the music and events will remain mostly the same.
