SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly possessing Oxycodone and a loaded gun in his car.
According to Shelby Township police, officers found Cartel Outlaw slouched over the wheel of a running car at a gas station on Oct. 8. When the officer asked for identification; Outlaw pulled out a bag of pills as he was checking his pockets for his ID.

The officer then asked Outlaw to step out of the car. When the officer patted the man down, they found a large amount of money and several pills in a big in Outlaw’s pocket. The officer searched the man’s car and found a loaded handgun stuffed between the seat and center console.
Outlaw was arrested and taken to the department’s station. Police later learned through testing that the pills were Oxycodone Hydrochloride.
Outlaw was arraigned in the 41-A District Court on Oct. 8 with the following charges:
Weapons-Carrying Concealed
Weapons-Firearm-Possession by a prohibited person
Weapons-Ammunition-Possession by a prohibited person
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Driving while License Suspended Second Offense
He was given a $10,000 bond cash or surety.
