Man dies after being struck by car in Detroit

A man died after being hit by a car Thursday night in Detroit.

Police said the man was hit by a car on Woodward Avenue near Edmund Place, which is just north of Little Caesars Arena, at around 10:40 p.m. on Oct. 10. The driver of the car then left the scene.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
