TROY, Mich. – Travel back to the Village and experience Christmas from the 1850s-60s as costumed reenactors perform activities of the season, such as playing games, decorating, exchanging gifts, and calling on friends.
Those in the holiday spirit will enjoy carols, kids' crafts, hot cider, and cocoa and shop for stocking stuffers in their general store starting Friday, Dec. 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continuing Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year’s theme is the Arts, and visitors can learn about the season’s music, crafts, stories, and other artistic elements. Plus, you’ll get to experience the Village at night, including the Log Cabin!
One of The Historic Village’s amazing volunteers will guide you through the three main stops of the program to visit their costumed reenactors.
After visiting the three stops, you can roam and explore the Village! All of the buildings will be open.
Make sure to stop at the General Store for hot cocoa, cider, and lots of gifts available for purchase.
