Previous story: Oakland County animal rescue searching for 2 puppies stolen from foster home
The puppies were last seen at the Lake Villa Estates mobile home park in Oxford on Monday, May 19, before they were taken from an outdoor play pen. They were scheduled to be adopted that same day.
Stacey Jerome and her husband, Sam, established the foster-based rescue more than a decade ago, focusing primarily on mother dogs and their puppies. The organization has helped thousands of dogs find permanent homes.
When the couple spoke to Local 4 last week, they said that the missing puppies were part of a litter brought to Michigan from Arkansas.
A police report had been filed with the Oxford Police Department, but at the time of our last report, there had been no leads.
