A longtime staple of Detroit’s news radio landscape passed away on Sunday.
WWJ Newsradio 950 reporter and anchor Mike Campbell died on Sunday, according to the station. He was 65.

"Mike loved to talk about his family, and his passion for boating and spending time outside, traveling around the state. He had a special fondness for the Upper Peninsula and Marquette, where he attended college,“ the station said in an announcement posted to their website. ”Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s wife Terri, his children, his extended family and many friends.
