27-year-old man found dead in Lake St. Clair, investigation underway

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. – New Baltimore police are investigating after a 27-year-old man was found dead in Lake St. Clair early Sunday morning, Oct. 19.

According to the New Baltimore Police Department, officers received a call around 2:45 a.m. reporting that a man had fallen off a dock into the lake.

Emergency responders, including police and firefighters, arrived at the scene but were unable to locate the man.

Coast Guard crews later found the man deceased underwater.

At this time, no other details have been released by police.
