Northern Lights could be visible in Michigan Tuesday and Wednesday -- What to know

Geomagnetic storm may bring northern lights to southeastern Michigan

According to the map provided by the Space Weather Prediction Center, Michigan just makes the viewing line, making it possible to see the northern lights on Nov. 11 and Nov. 13 (Space Weather Prediction Center)

Michiganders may have a chance to see the northern lights once again Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening.

Geomagnetic storm watches were issued for Nov. 11 through Nov. 13 by the Space Weather Prediction Center .

Officials said the aurora may become visible over many parts of the northern states and some of the lower Midwest to Oregon.

According to the map provided by the Space Weather Prediction Center, Michigan just makes the viewing line, making it possible to see the northern lights.
