A Hamtramck police officer accused of assaulting his wife had his charge dismissed.
Hamtramck police officer Saeed Rizvee , 29, of Warren, was charged with one count of domestic violence on Sept. 29, 2025.
Prosecutors alleged that Rizvee physically assaulted his wife on Sept. 28, 2025. He was suspended from duty following his arraignment.
On Nov. 18, 2025, his charge was dismissed without prejudice, meaning the case is over but could be refiled.
