Local 4’s Investigative team obtained the booking, charging and bond information documents and his booking photo on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025.
The documents confirm what we learned in court last week, detailing how Moore and a staff member had “been involved in a dating relationship for several years.”
The woman allegedly ended their relationship on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, and since then, Moore allegedly called and texted her repeatedly, even though she wasn’t responding to him.
Moore was fired on Wednesday, Dec. 10. According to the documents, after his firing, Moore went to the woman’s apartment “unannounced and pushed his way into her apartment.”
Police said when the woman told Moore that he needed to leave, he “grabbed some butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and threatened to take his own life.”
He allegedly told the woman he was “going to kill himself and make her watch” and that “his blood will be on her hands” and “she has ruined his life.”
According to the report, Moore only stopped when the woman told him that she was going to call the police.
At that point, Moore allegedly left her apartment, but continued sending her texts, saying “he hated her” and again that “his blood would be on her hands.”
The woman told police she felt very threatened by this, according to the document.
The University of Michigan also released a video statement from Interim President Domenic Grasso on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, which shared information about the university’s investigation into Moore’s actions and assessment into whether there is “related misconduct by others.”
Moore has been charged with third-degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering.
He was released on a $25,000 bond on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025.
