DETROIT – A Christmas Eve police chase in Detroit ended with a man accused of stealing a car.
It happened on Wednesday (Dec. 24) around 11:30 a.m. near the Lodge Freeway.
Police said the driver pulled into a parking lot near Davison Street and La Salle Boulevard and took off running.
A Michigan State Police Trooper chased the suspect through the neighborhood yards using his taser several times without success.
After a brief struggle, police said the 50-year-old Pontiac man was arrested.
