Multiple people were arrested and 16 guns, $37,000 in cash, fentanyl, cocaine and other drugs were seized in a large drug bust spanning three Metro Detroit counties.
On Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team executed multiple search warrants in Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties in connection with an investigation into a large-scale drug trafficking operation, according to Michigan State Police.

Detectives seized the following:
- 16 guns (3 of them were stolen)
- 1.5 lbs. of fentanyl
- More than one pound of cocaine
- Bulk marijuana
- 16,422 milliliters of codeine (34 pints)
- More than 1,600 prescription narcotic pills (including oxycodone, Xanax, alprazolam)
- $37,000 in cash
- 1 car with intent to forfeit
Authorities arrested multiple suspects, and warrant requests were submitted to the prosecutor’s office.
Local and federal agencies assisted COMET with this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
Officials said the operation was supported by a federal Byrne Justice Assistance Grant administered by the Michigan State Police through the U.S. Department of Justice.
