New Trinity Health Livingston hospital set to open in April

BRIGHTON, Mich. – A new Trinity hospital is set to open in Brighton later this month.

The Trinity Health Livingston on Grand River in Brighton is scheduled to open April 19, 2026.

John O’Malley, president of Trinity Health Livingston and Trinity Health Medical Center Brighton, said the new facility is designed to improve efficiency and better serve the community.

He said by bringing services together on one campus, the hospital hopes to streamline staffing and reduce costs while expanding access to care.

The new hospital will feature dozens of patient beds and updated medical equipment, part of a broader effort to modernize care in Livingston County.
