4Warn Weather - After a soggy and cool couple of days sunshine and warmer temperatures will return to Southeast Michigan in time for Memorial Day.
Rain will move out Sunday evening, giving way to mostly cloudy skies and calm winds overnight. Patchy fog will also be possible. Temperatures tonight will be near normal in the low to mid 50s for most of the area.
Memorial Day will begin with some passing clouds and patchy fog, especially further eastward, but by lunchtime expect more full sunshine.
We’ll see lots of sun for the afternoon and have a beautiful evening.
If you’re heading out in the morning for a parade or ceremony, temperatures will be in the mid 50s, so you may want a light jacket or long-sleeves. You’ll want to be in layers because we’ll warm up fast - seeing mid 60s by mid-morning and mid 70s by lunchtime.
Grab extra water and sunscreen if you’ll be outside midday into the afternoon. Highs will be mainly in the low 80s with UV levels in the Very High range.
If you’ll be in the bay or thumb regions, along with areas further north, these areas have a slim chance of seeing spotty rain in the afternoon.
If you’ll be visiting Fort Custer National Cemetery or the Great Lakes National Cemetery, the forecast will be very similar to ours with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 80s.
We stay warm for Tuesday and Wednesday across Southeast Michigan, seeing highs into the low and middle 80s. We’ll drop back to the mid and upper 70s to end the week.
Every day of the week features mostly to partly sunny skies with a slight chance of rain Wednesday afternoon.
