May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Thousands of people struggle with anxiety, depression, and addiction, but many still feel like they can’t talk about things like that.

1 in 20 adults had serious thoughts of suicide each year -- that’s more than 400,000 people.
8.5% of adults struggle with substance abuse in Michigan. That’s slightly higher than the national average.
