Around 100 antisemitic pamphlets found in Berkley, police increasing patrols

Pamphlets placed overnight Saturday into Sunday, police say

BERKLEY, Mich. – Police in Oakland County are looking for information on who put antisemitic pamphlets around the area.

According to police, the pamphlets were spotted in high-traffic areas and on front lawns along 11 Mile to 12 Mile roads and Coolidge to Woodward in Berkley.

So far, officers have found about 100 of the antisemitic pamphlets.

Investigators believe they were placed sometime Friday, May 16, into Saturday, May 17, before 6 a.m.

For now, residents may see more officers patrolling the area. Police are asking residents to submit any video of people or cars in the area tossing bags onto lawns. Residents can submit evidence here.
